Sunday School exists for the purpose of helping parents fulfill their God-given responsibility of teaching their children about God’s great message of salvation for them in Jesus Christ.
Consequently, Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church are strongly dedicated to children’s Christian education. Our goal is that children grow in their knowledge of Scripture so that they will grow into adults who are capable of understanding the Bible for themselves. We have dedicated teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching the Word of God to children.
During Sunday School, the children are taught about Jesus Christ, their Savior, Lord, and friend, and his loving care for them, beginning with creation. Our classes provide children with the opportunity to hear Bible Stories, sing songs, make new friends, and hear of God’s love for them in Jesus Christ, in an age-appropriate setting.
Sunday School classes meet September to May between Divine Services at 10:00 AM in the church basement and are open to all children ages three years old to grade six. Grades seven and up attend Adult Bible Study which meets at the same time.
If you have any questions at any time about our Sunday School program please do not hesitate to call the church office 701.538.4688.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
